Jamieson's Shetland wools are grown and spun on Shetland, a group of islands in the North Sea, Scotland. Shetland's rich hand knitting tradition continues today and Shetland knitters still create beautiful lace shawls, gloves, mittens, hats and Fair Isle garments for sale. Available in hundreds of dyed, heathered and natural shades, the design potential of Jamieson's Shetland wool is without limit.
Spindrift is a 2-ply, fingering weight wool traditionally used for Fair Isle knitting. Made of 100% Shetland wool, Spindrift has just the right amount of crunch and grab to create beautifully stranded Fair Isle creations.
