Swans Island yarns are spun at a historic Maine mill, and hand-dyed at their own dyehouse in Newport using all natural dyes made from roots, leaves, and other plant and insect based materials. With rich, subtle tonalities of color, the hand dyeing process gives each skein its own unique character.
