“Dyed in the wool” yarns are dyed as fiber, before being spun into yarn. Spincycle kettle dyes this way, resulting in yarns that are saturated through with color.  With their variegated yarns, the process creates colors that shift slowly and dramatically. It’s also the reason that no two skeins are alike! 

Due to the “dyed in the wool” process, each skein produced is unique, even within a dyelot.  We highly recommend buying your entire yardage requirement for your project in the same transaction, so that we can hand select skeins that play well together.
